Design and Validation of the Vortrix Industrial Blower for Dual Function Cleaning Applications

The Vortrix industrial blower represents an innovation in industrial cleaning equipment by integrating two essential functions—high-power blowing and robust vacuuming—into a single ergonomic device. This article's main objective is to document the design, development, and validation process of this dual-function product, which was conceived to optimize maintenance tasks in industrial environments and workshops by eliminating the need for multiple tools and reducing operator physical effort. The methodology used in the product's development combined a user-based approach, structured in sequential phases including conceptualization, supply chain planning, prototyping, field testing, mass production, and rigorous quality control, to ensure the design addressed real needs identified through market research. The results obtained demonstrate the technical and functional viability of the concept, as the prototypes validated the efficiency of the dual system, showing a significant reduction in task execution time and high user acceptance due to its ergonomics and ease of use. Ultimately, the Vortrix project not only delivers a practical and efficient solution to the market but also validates a user-centered and process-driven development model, laying the groundwork for future innovations in multifunctional industrial equipment.
